Jenny is a Partner with the firm, who graduated from the University of Keele with a degree in Geography and Geology.  Jenny completed her legal professional qualifications at The College of Law, Chester and trained with a Liverpool practice.  Upon qualification Jenny joined a national firm of solicitors working in both Liverpool and Preston dealing with property matters.

Jenny specialises in sales and purchases of residential and commercial property, commercial landlord and tenant matters, re-mortgages of residential and commercial property and equity release mortgages.

Debra Graduated in law at Liverpool John Moores University and then went on to complete the Legal Practice Course part time at Liverpool John Moores University whilst working full time at a firm of Solicitors in Liverpool. Debra went on to join another firm of Solicitors in Liverpool as Trainee Solicitor where she qualified in 2008.

Debra has considerable experience in all property matters including Transfers of Equity, Right to Buys and Equitable Release Mortgages, and is committed to providing a friendly, personal service and is happy to see clients often without having an appointment.

Debra is supported by Owen Morris, who is not legally qualified, but whose work is directly supervised by Debra.

Owen joined the firm in March 2019 as a Conveyancing Assistant to Debra. Owen’s duties include but are not limited to:- Providing Quotes for Sale, Purchase, Transfer, Re-Mortgage, Equity Release and First Registration, Opening new files, Administrative tasks such as copying, filing, post, proofing clients identification, Retrieving files from our archive store and Archiving recently completed matters.

Michael graduated in Law at Liverpool Polytechnic in 1991 and completed the Solicitors Final examinations at the College of Law in Chester in 1992. He completed his training as a Solicitor in Liverpool and thereafter worked for a number of firms in Liverpool, Kirkby and Huyton and has been based in Skelmersdale since 2001. He joined the firm in 2006. Michael qualified as a Duty Solicitor in 1998 and currently heads the Magistrates Department.

Michael has considerable experience dealing with all aspects of Criminal Litigation including representation of individuals at the Police Station, representation of individuals charged with criminal offences in the Magistrates Court and recently has commenced to represent individuals in the Crown Court. Michael is committed to providing a friendly personal service to his clients and is well known and respected in the locality which is evidenced by his continued repeat instructions from clients.

Simon is the great-grandson of one of the founding partners, Sir Samuel Brighouse. He has over 35 years experience starting in 1978, initially as a trainee Legal Executive and qualifying as a Solicitor in 1993.

Simon deals with all aspects of Family Law including Divorce, Separation and the Financial aspects on Relationship Breakdowns. He also deals with any issues arising regarding the arrangements for Children. Simon can also deal with some elements of Private Client Work including Wills & Lasting Powers of Attorney.

Simon will represent you throughout your case, including representation in Court, ensuring continuity and stability. He is committed to providing a caring and personal service in what can be a difficult and stressful time.

Jennifer graduated in law at Birmingham University and then went on to complete the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Chester where she achieved the national Law Society award for outstanding achievement in Private Client. She then joined the firm as a trainee solicitor and is now the Head of the Probate Department.

Jennifer has considerable experience dealing with all aspects of Private Client work including Wills, Probate, Court of Protection, Lasting Powers of Attorney and the Administration of Trusts and also periodically gives talks on these areas to local community groups. Jennifer is committed to providing a friendly, personal service and is happy to offer appointments to clients either in the office or at their home.

Steve has many years of experience of all types of Personal Injury work, including Accidents at Work, Road Traffic Accidents and Tripping Accidents.

His main area of specialism is in Large (Multi Track) Personal Injury Claims where his experience, expertise and dedication are crucial in obtaining maximum levels of compensation for his clients.

Mike is an Oxford Graduate who specialises in Higher Court Proceedings and is qualified to appear in all criminal Courts from the Magistrates Court, to the Crown Court and through to the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court.

His main area of specialism is in the Crown Court where he represents clients at all levels of proceedings. Although he has considerable experience in dealing with the most serious of allegations he can also be found in the Magistrates Court and the Police Station.

Mike has been part of the Police Station and Court Duty Solicitor scheme since it began in 1986.

Claire qualified as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives In June 1999. Claire joined Brighouse Wolff in 1996 having worked previously for the Liverpool Family Proceedings Court.

Claire has over 20 years experience in Family Law and specialises in cases relating to children, such as disputes relating to where they live and when they see the other parent (known as child arrangement orders), special guardianship orders and in particular in cases where Social Services are involved.   Claire regularly acts for parents who are involved with Social Services where pre proceedings or Care proceedings have been issued or children removed from their parents.

Claire is committed to providing a professional, friendly and personal service to all clients and her goal is to get the best possible outcome for you and your children.
